3. Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability.
When you make a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information where requested.
A booking is not guaranteed until the booking process has been successfully completed and, where applicable, payment has been received.
The price applicable to your booking will be the price displayed at the time of purchase, unless there is an obvious pricing error.
Our regular open-run sessions may be advertised as 2-hour indoor 5v5 sessions and are currently listed at £11, but prices, session formats and venues may change.
4. Session eligibility
ByZXI's regular sessions are currently intended for players aged 18 and over.
You must not attend a session if you do not meet the stated eligibility requirements for that session.
Certain events or activities may have different eligibility requirements. These will be communicated with the relevant event information.
5. Basketball and physical activity
Basketball involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury.
You participate in ByZXI sessions and events voluntarily and should only participate where you consider yourself physically capable of doing so.
You should take reasonable care of your own safety and the safety of other participants.
You should tell the ByZXI team before participating if there is a relevant injury, physical limitation or other issue that could affect your safe participation.
We may ask you not to participate, or to stop participating, where we reasonably believe that your participation could create a significant safety risk to you or another person.
6. Player conduct
ByZXI is intended to be a competitive but social basketball community.
Participants must behave respectfully towards other players, organisers, venue staff and members of the public.
You must not:
- Threaten, intimidate, harass or abuse another person.
- Engage in discriminatory or hateful behaviour.
- Deliberately cause injury or damage.
- Attend while significantly impaired by alcohol or drugs.
- Engage in conduct that creates an unreasonable safety risk.
- Deliberately disrupt a session or event.
- Damage or misuse venue property.
- Engage in illegal activity in connection with a ByZXI session or event.
We may refuse participation or remove a participant from a session or event where reasonably necessary to protect safety, the community or the proper operation of the event.
Where appropriate, serious or repeated misconduct may result in a participant being prevented from attending future ByZXI activities.
7. Cancellations and changes
We may occasionally need to change a session or event because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including venue availability, safety concerns, severe weather, operational issues, illness, technical problems or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we cancel or materially change a paid session or event, we will communicate the available options to affected customers, which may include a transfer, rescheduling or refund where appropriate.
Our specific cancellation and refund arrangements may also be stated at the point of booking and will apply where relevant.
8. Refunds
Where a refund is legally required, we will provide one in accordance with applicable consumer law.
For voluntary cancellations by a customer, any applicable refund or transfer will depend on the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
9. Venues and facilities
ByZXI may operate sessions at third-party sports facilities and venues.
Venue rules and reasonable instructions from venue staff must be followed.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to a venue, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Photography and video
Photography and video may take place at ByZXI sessions and events for community, promotional, social media and other legitimate purposes.
Where necessary, we will provide appropriate information and obtain consent or rely on another lawful basis.
If you have concerns about the use of an image or video featuring you, please contact us.

The ByZXI name, branding, logos, website content, graphics, photographs, videos and other original materials are owned by or licensed to ByZXI unless stated otherwise.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our materials without permission, except where permitted by law.
You retain ownership of content that you independently create, but by submitting content to ByZXI you confirm that you have the right to provide it to us.
12. Community and user content
If you provide photographs, videos, testimonials, comments or other content to ByZXI, you should ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide that material.
We may ask for permission before using submitted content for promotional or commercial purposes where required.

13. Website information
We aim to keep information on the website accurate and current.
However, session times, venues, prices, availability, formats and event details may change.

14. Third-party services
Our website or services may link to or use third-party services, including booking platforms, payment services, social media platforms, messaging services, maps, email providers and other external websites.
Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, ByZXI will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or are outside the scope of the service being provided.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
16. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include venue closure, extreme weather, public authority action, major infrastructure failure, epidemic or pandemic restrictions, industrial action, serious illness, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Where such circumstances affect a paid service, we will communicate with affected customers and provide any remedies required by applicable law.
17. Newsletter content
ByZXI newsletters are provided for general informational and promotional purposes.
We aim to ensure that information in our newsletters is accurate, but dates, prices, venues, availability and event details may change.
Where a newsletter contains an offer or promotion, any additional conditions applying to that offer will be stated in the relevant communication.
18. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy & Data Policy.
You can read our Privacy & Data Policy on the ByZXI website.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on our website and will show the date on which it was last updated.
Where a change materially affects an existing booking or contractual relationship, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the change where required.
